IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM USA HOCKEY ABOUT REGISTRATION PROCESS CHANGE AND SEASON DATES CHANGE

USA Hockey has changed the process for member registration beginning this year.  In the past, our club used to collect the USA Hockey registration fee (for non-travel players - travel players were registered through their travel team) and pay for and register players at the time of club/team registration.  Effective this new season, USA Hockey is not permitting organizations to collect fees and register members any longer.  MEMBERS ARE NOW RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING AND REGISTERING THEMSELVES DIRECTLY WITH USA HOCKEY.  If you were registered with USA Hockey for the 2008-2009 season, your membership is good through the end of August 2009.  But the registration period for the 2009-2010 season begins on May 1, 2009.  Members are responsible for paying and registering directly with USA Hockey for the Fall-Winter 2009-2010 season.  After you register on the USA Hockey website www.usahockeyregistration.com, please print and mail or email your receipt to Ron Schwinn. As he needs this information to roster you to our club and team.   USA Hockey membership is MANDATORY for all players since we play at sanctioned facilities, in sanctioned leagues and in a sanctioned club.
